ChessPrivePrivacy Policy
ChessPrive is a private, members-only chess club. Your privacy is the point — this page explains exactly what we collect, why, and what we never do.
WHAT WE COLLECT
- Account info — your email address, the username you choose, and a password (stored hashed by our auth provider; we never see or store your raw password).
- The invite code you used to join.
- Gameplay data — games you play, results, ratings, and move data used to keep play fair.
- Security signals — basic technical data (e.g. IP address, a human-verification token, and limited device signals) used only to block bots, cheating, and abuse.
- Waitlist email — if you request an invite, we keep your email to contact you about access.
HOW WE USE IT
- To run your account, your games, and your rankings.
- To keep the club secure — anti-bot, anti-cheat, and fair-play enforcement.
- To contact you about your account or the club.
WHAT WE NEVER DO
- We never sell or rent your information.
- We never share it with advertisers, and we run no third-party ad tracking.
WHO PROCESSES YOUR DATA
We use a small number of trusted infrastructure providers strictly to operate the service:
- Supabase — database and authentication (stores your account + game data securely).
- Cloudflare — hosting, security, and human-verification (Turnstile).
That's it. They process data on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes.
SECURITY
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Database access is locked down with row-level security so members can only ever see their own private data. Sign-up and sign-in are protected by human-verification to keep bots out.
COOKIES
We use only essential cookies needed to keep you signed in and to protect the site. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
YOUR CHOICES & RIGHTS
You can ask to access, correct, or delete your account and personal data at any time. Just email support@chessprive.com and we'll take care of it.
AGE
The free coin club has no age requirement. Any future paid or real-money features would be offered only to verified adults (18/19+ depending on region) and governed by separate terms.
CHANGES
If we update this policy, we'll change the date above and, for material changes, notify members.
